In response to internationalization, the Japan Dam Engineering Center promotes active technical exchanges with foreign countries by participating in and supporting international conferences (International Commission Large Dams, Japan-Korea Joint Meeting on River and Water Resources Development, etc.),dispatches engineers to provide international technical cooperation (through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)), accepts trainees from foreign countries, and collects and introduces information about overseas technologies.
